Bank statement PDF password finder
Indian banks lock statement PDFs with a password built from your details — and the rule differs by bank, and sometimes by whether the statement was emailed or downloaded. Pick your bank, enter your details, and get every likely password in order. It all happens in your browser.

If none of them work
- Read the covering email or download page. Banks state the rule for that specific file there, and it overrides everything else.
- Check the case. Some banks want the name part in capitals, others in small letters.
- Use the name exactly as the bank holds it — the spelling on your passbook, with initials, without Mr/Mrs.
- Credit card statements are different. These formats are for savings and current accounts.
- Still stuck? Your bank's customer care can confirm the format — they will never need the password itself.
Opened it? Get it into Excel or Tally.
BankXL reads the locked PDF directly — enter the password when asked, and every transaction comes out in Excel, CSV or Tally XML with each running balance checked. The password is used once and never stored.
